A beach wedding can be the answer for a couple on a budget but are still looking for that unique elegance every bride is dreaming of.

What bride hasn’t dreamed about her perfect wedding ceremony being held on the beach? The morning sunrise caressing the water’s edge while welcoming the beginning of a new day and a new life with your loved ones, family, and guests present. This self-indulgent dream can be a reality with an open imagination and the right creative team.

The beaches of Jacksonville, St. Augustine, Northeast Florida, and Southeast Georgia make a perfect ambiance for a ceremony that will be filled with the memories of a lifetime. And although a beach wedding is not complicated, thoughtful and careful planning must go into it.

What beaches in the Jacksonville area are the best for a wedding?

Some of the most popular beaches for a wedding are Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach and Jacksonville Beach. These beaches don’t require a permit to hold a wedding but a phone call to the local police is recommended to let them know of your plans. St. Augustine in St. Johns County has over 40 miles of pristine beaches on mostly public land. Permits are required for an event like a beach wedding which is about $100 plus $6 tax. When to hold your beach wedding?

While May through September would seem to be a logical choice, it`s not always a case in Florida. These months are the hottest, most humid months of the year in the Jacksonville area, with the average temperature above 90F. They are also the most active months weather-wise with unexpecting rain storms popping up with almost no warning. The more ideal time of the year for a Florida wedding is between late September and early May. When the sun and air temperatures are not as hot. Making for a much more comfortable experience for your party and your guests.

What services do you want for your wedding?

musician and electric violin

Your beach wedding can be as comfortable and informal as you like it. Here at Adagio Weddings we truly believe that no one has to walk down the aisle in silence! Even for the smallest weddings or elopements, we would suggest you have a solo violinist or solo cellist to create a beautiful ambiance that would compliment the day.

If your wedding is larger then 50 guests, string duo, trio or quartet will be a perfect choice to bring that touch of elegance to your ceremony. All our packages include 15-30 min of prelude music (to entertain your guests, while they taking their seats), everything throughout your ceremony, and postlude, while your bridal party and guests are relocating to the cocktail location.

Don`t forget about your ceremony backdrop. Bamboo or wooden wedding arch along with a real or artificial flowers will create a lovely and enchanting atmosphere.
