The versatility of violin and cello (provides Melody and Harmonization) is the perfect choice for an event that requires different styles of music, such as classical music for a wedding and pop or modern music for a cocktail hour.
The Classical Strings Trio comprises of two violins and a cello,or violin,viola and cello and is slightly more compact than the Quartet, so if space is a problem, but you would like more sound than a solo or duo, then this option is ideal. (Full harmonies accompanying the melody)
The string quartet is the ideal size of ensemble for most events ranging from a handful of guests up to a few hundred or more. The combination of two violins, viola and cello can create a wide range of textures and moods varying from the most subtle and delicate to a full, rich string sound. Wedding events are usually booked anywhere from 4 to 24 months in advance. However we can often accommodate a shorter time line. Contact us to check availability.
